As I sit here at the airport headed home for the weekend I figured I better do some blogging and hopefully get caught up!
Heather’s Bachelorette Bash was about 2 months ago. I am terrible about blogging lately. I had so many things going in the last few months. I am going to try and get caught up on this 4 hour plane ride home.
A lot of planning went into Heather’s Party and I like to think that I came up with most of the ideas…but I was really just following orders from the Bridezilla herself! j/k Heather informed us that she wanted to have a night out in Portland, have the decorations consist of pink and zebra prints, go to a drag show, and end the night dancing. We tried to meet all of her demands…I mean request.
We left Olympia at around 11am and headed to Portland. We got to our hotel around 2pm. We had two hotel rooms and stuck Heather in one while we decorated the other.
Our night begin with a couple of Jello shots for everyone.
And goodie bags and treats!
A Bachelorette party is not complete without a penis cake.
We had plenty of drinks to wet our whistles.
Caution tape was placed on the door to warn our neighbors.
A party is not complete without a photo station.
Heather loved the room décor and was super excited to get the night started!
Photo station is in full force…
After everyone arrived and got ready we met back up for games and gifts.
Heather’s other request for the night was for everyone to wear black dresses. Heather surprised us all with these awesome neon green members only jackets that we all had to wear out for the night! I am so excited to add this to my wardrobe. :/
After all the gifts were opened we headed downtown in the hotel shuttle for dinner.
We ate at a fun little bar and grill called Hamburger Mary’s.
After dinner we were off to Darcelle’s, the oldest drag show in the states.
Darcelle herself/himself is the oldest drag queen in the states as well and we saw way too much of her this evening! Her jokes were really old, so no one in the crowd really got them. At least she made herself laugh!
All of the Brides in the audience were called up on stage and Heather was pumped! She was asked where she was getting married and she told the crowd Australia!?!? This was news to all of her bridesmaids!
When the show was over the night was just beginning. We headed across the street to a night club called Dirty. We had own booth and had a blast dancing the night away celebrating Heather’s last few days of being single!
