Doug’s Winter Recap

Doug finally had some time this past winter to do a little duck hunting and I know he is already rearing up to go again in the next few months when the season starts up.  He just downloaded his pictures from his iphone onto my computer, so I thought that I would share them over the next week.

Doug was browsing Craig's list for a couple of weeks looking for a used john boat.  He finally found one and was so excited about the price that we had to go that night to look at it /pick it up.  It had just started to snow and it was already around 6 and the guys house was about 45 minutes away.  I was not happy that we had to go right at that moment, but because he was grinning ear to ear I knew we had to.  We got to the guys house safely and before Doug even said a word to the guy he was already knocking the price down.  I think the owner had posted the boat for $200 and we left there paying $125 with out us doing any of the bartering!

The next day we took the boat to the lake to see if it would float (and it did) and Doug started painting it the next weekend.

Doug loves going hunting and he is so glad that he finally found some guys to go with.
